Criminal Appeals and post-conviction hearings

Generally, if you plead guilty to a federal criminal charge, you waive your right to file an appeal.   However, there are exceptions to this rule that Jeff Goldfarb, an experienced appellate lawyer, understands and has used to win appeals.  Conversely, if you went to trial on a federal criminal charge and lost, in most instances, you can appeal your conviction.  However, there are very strict time limits to file an appeal, sometimes just a few days.  Not only has criminal defense attorney Jeff Goldfarb succeeded on multiple federal criminal appeals, but he is licensed to practice in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and appears there regularly to argue for his clients.
